My name is Jarod Huhtala. I’m a Certified Athletic Therapist, and currently enrolled in a master’s in science in osteopathic manipulation. I specialize in manual therapy and functional exercise application.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been very interested in anatomy. I grew up playing soccer, basketball, badminton and volleyball, and would wind up with my fair share of injuries keeping me on the sideline. This led me to mixing my passion with anatomy with exercise and rehabilitation, with a goal of keeping people active and engaged in their interests for as long as possible.
One of the main drivers behind my work is my father, who has suffered with Chiari and has been consistently turned away from healthcare providers due to the complexity of his pain. I want to be a practitioner that can help anyone find health and find hope.
I’m excited to bring my passions and experience to MET Health! I speak English and French, and am looking forward to meeting new people!
