Jarod Huhtala is a Certified Athletic Therapist, and currently enrolled in a master’s in science in osteopathic manipulation. He specializes in manual therapy and functional exercise application.

For as long as he can remember, he’s been very interested in anatomy. He grew up playing soccer, basketball, badminton and volleyball, and would wind up with his fair share of injuries keeping him on the sideline. This led to mixing his passion with anatomy with exercise and rehabilitation, with a goal of keeping people active and engaged in their interests for as long as possible.

One of the main drivers behind his work is his father, who has suffered with Chiari and has been consistently turned away from healthcare providers due to the complexity of his pain. He wants to be a practitioner that can help anyone find health and find hope.

He’s excited to bring his passions and experience to MET Health! He speaks English and French, and is looking forward to meeting new people!
